Welcome to the program for Limmud Oz Melbourne 2025!

Join us for an immersive weekend festival of Jewish ideas and culture, with >100 presenters and sessions to choose from.
From Ben-Gurion to bagels, Yentl to yoga, we always have something for everyone. Limmud is an opportunity for you to cultivate a personal Jewish experience and learn from presenters you might never come across otherwise.

For nearly 130 years, the Bund has shaped, reflected, and resisted the major shifts in Jewish life in Europe and around the world. In this session new and multiple generations reflect on the experience of growing up in Bundist families and communities, and on the impact of the ideals and history of the Bund on their Jewish lives and identities

Speakers

Lexi Koronczyk

Lexi is a year 9 student, 4th generation SKIFist and the third generation of Australian Yiddish speakers in her family.

Doodie Ringelblum

Doodie Ringelblum is current President of the Bund, a consequence of a lifetime of involvement in the SKIF/Bund organisation. Its ideals have shaped most of his major life decisions. He raises his three children in Yiddish and can probably eat more chocolate than you can.

Layla Carmeli-Wolski
