Welcome to the program for Limmud Oz Melbourne 2025!

Join us for an immersive weekend festival of Jewish ideas and culture, with >100 presenters and sessions to choose from.
From Ben-Gurion to bagels, Yentl to yoga, we always have something for everyone. Limmud is an opportunity for you to cultivate a personal Jewish experience and learn from presenters you might never come across otherwise.

For two years (2023-24), Alex Kats attempted to visit every synagogue and service in Melbourne on Shabbat morning. He ended up visiting 71 services, plus a few abroad and interstate. During that time, he met many intriguing characters and developed some fascinating insights about the diversity and unity within the Melbourne Jewish community. Join him as he brings these insights to life and shares his experience.
